Fin’Amor e Paratge – a pilgrimage in the lands and visions of the Cathars, and the Troubadours, plus a workshop on the Magdalene tradition and Gospel.
8th to 17th September 2019, based at ‘Le Jardin de la Sals’, Sougraine by Rennes-les-Bains. Transport included from Carcassonne Airport or Station.
Starting with 4 days of excursions and talks – your choice of walks on the ‘Sentier Cathar’ or visits to the ‘Cathar Châteaux’, exploring and evoking the vision and life of these ‘shining ones’. Led by Kris Misselbrook. With time for reflections, meditations, and sharing. One afternoon we shall meditate in the Château of Rennes-le-Château with David Bailey’s inspired piano. Then leading into :
13th to 15th September – a special 3 day event given by Jehanne de Quillan from the community who have guarded and translated ‘The Gospel of the Beloved Companion’. The profound teachings of this Gospel, and of the Cathar ‘Consolomentum’ are explained, as well as a meditation practice to evoke Unitive Consciousness or ‘The Kingdom of God’.

In collaboration with Rai d’Honoré – a medievalist and connoisseur of the Troubadours, illustrating these teachings of love and its celebration in song.
Plus a concert of Troubadour music from ‘La Rosca Trobadoresca’.
This 3 day workshop can be taken separately, or as a part of the Cathar pilgrimage. Book early as places are limited.
