21 folk from the UK, USA, Ireland and Germany, joined us from september 16 to 23 staying for the week near Rennes les Bains, with a special trip to Congenies to visit the oldest Quaker house in France.  Here François Tomlin talked to us about the rise of the protestant reform in the Languedoc ‘on the embers of the Cathars’.

Colum Hayward of Polair Publishing and the White Eagle lodge joined us for a few days and gave a talk on the connections in spirit between the Cathar Parfaits, White Eagle and St.John.

A special highlight was meeting a Bogomil Congregation (considered descendants of the Cathars) from Bulgaria –  we held ceremony and danced together at Montségur on the Equinox.montsegur,pog.red

Kris gave talks on the network of Heresies, Cathar Beliefs and the many comparisons with Quaker practice today.  Magie O’Neill led us in some Sacred Dances.    We also visited Minerve, the Châteaux of Lastours, Peyrepertuse, Queribus, Puilaurens and Piuvert, Beziers, and the Musée de Quercorb.
