The week 7 to 14 september 17 folk gathered as ‘Bonshommes’ for a further exploration of Cathar Country and belief led by Kris Misselbrook.
Staying as always at our favourite hotel : Ecluse au Soleil, with 2 nights also in Hotel Thermale de Park in Ussat we travelled daily to a variety of Cathar sites – castles, caves and countryside, with talks about Cathar beliefs and vision.
Special guest presenters were :
Colum Hayward , of the White Eagle lodge, presents a 
well-researched alternative view of the Cathars, seeing them as fundamentally focused on the light of spirit not the darkness of matter. His approach includes the devotion of the Cathar, not just the externalities, and focuses on the Cathars’ lives not their deaths.
Ani Williams, harpist, singer, songwriter, author, sound therapist, pilgrimage guide.
Ani has recorded more than two-dozen albums of original sacred music based on ancient spiritual traditions. She has done seminal work in the study of sound healing and the relationship between musical tones, the human voice and healing.
Christian Koenig, our guide in the Cathar caves. Special private visits to the ‘Cathedral’ in Lombrives cave complex, and ‘Les Eglises’ and ‘Bethlehem’ above Ussat les Bains. Accompanied by wise insight and pan pipes.
